Acapulco, Mexico
22nd November 2006

Hello,

Just spending a day getting a few things sorted out here in Acapulco, including getting website updated. The weather is pretty hot! And I'm starting to get a few more bites in the last couple of days.

I've now seen the things in Mexico that most interested me, namely the Baja peninsula and Copper Canyon, and am therefore (apart from today!) trying to get some decent mileage behind me so's I can cross into South America around the turn of the month, and keep reasonably close to my original schedule. Still got around five Central American countries to go though, and have pre-arranged to get a new rear tyre fitted and maybe a service in San Jose, Costa Rica. Total mileage to date is around 14,000.

Internet access is becoming less common in hotels, and there's certainly none here, so I'm about to go off this afternoon in search of an internet cafe to upload this stuff.

All can be found here as usual, including a new Google Earth update (Northern Mexico) 04a. Don't forget to Save As or rename it from a ZIP to a KMZ file! Pipex still haven't sorted out their problems.
